An innovative and diversified Fortune 500 global company is currently looking for a HIGH LEVEL Human Resource Manager to join their Flag-Ship manufacturing facility near Fort Wayne, IN. Responsibilities:
Provide strategic HR leadership for 2 sites local to each other. The facilities have approximately 450 employees and they are both Union manufacturing locations
Design organizational structures which support the current and future business strategies
Coach and guide leadership team on all Talent Management activities including performance management, wage and salary management, talent development, and succession planning
Manage Labor Relations activities including negotiations, grievance administration, and building union relationships
Work with the Senior Leadership team to ensure positive employee relationship environment
Coordinate staffing including recruiting, selections, and placements for the entire facility
Work with Lean initiatives to ensure the success of continuous improvement
Work with division Health & Safety team to insure safety programs are implemented and updated
Requirements:
MUST HAVE a Bachelors Degree
A minimum of 5 years of HR experience in supporting a union manufacturing or assembly operation
Strong employee relations and team building skills
Previous knowledge of labor relations and contract negotiations, preferably as chief spokesperson
Must be a dynamic and proven leader
Compensation is commensurate with experience
