QUALITY MANAGER

·         Direct the Quality Team in the development and implementation of all Quality management programs and control plans for the facility

·         Drive improvement in plant quality performance: warranty, customer PPM, internal PPM, scrap, etc...

·         Design, develop, implement and continuously improve upon of the quality assurance programs.

·         Initiates internal and external customer contact for on-going feedback and takes proactive role in responding to customer concerns as they relate to the quality of product and service delivered to the customer.

·         Lead and facilitate reviews of PFMEA, CP and production documentation for ongoing jobs, striving for improvement opportunities. Recommends corrective action to conform to quality specifications and standards.

·         Review new product prior to production start up in coordination with Manufacturing Engineers and production personnel.

·         Review and approve all supplier documentation

·         Design and implement quality training programs.  Working with managers to ensure that employees are trained in techniques to ensure quality at the source.

·         Plan aggressive plant quality objectives and drive the action plans to achieve those objectives

·         Champion all shop-floor quality issues & concerns through effective leadership

·         Communicate performance and critical issues appropriately through the organization, to customers, and to suppliers

Position Requirements::

·         Must have a BS degree, strongly prefer an Engineering or Metallurgy degree or similar technical discipline

·         Must be well-rounded in all areas of automotive quality (tier 1 or 2 experience)

·         Must have excellent problem solving skills and a proven track record of PPM & Scrap reduction

·         Must have spent time as a Quality Engineer and then moved into Quality Management (Minimum 3 years of Quality Management experience) 

·         Solid Leadership is Required!  Looking for Promotable Talent!
