We have an immediate need for a High-Potential Embedded Controls Engineer, for their Mississippi engineering center.   With annual sales exceeding $10 billion, our client is the world's leading diversified manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems, providing precision-engineered solutions for a wide variety of mobile, industrial and aerospace markets
 
A successful Embedded Controls Engineer will have experience in the development of vehicle powertrain software.

Requirements:

·         Must be proficient in Matlab and Simulink, and familiar with C or C++

 

·         Three years of vehicle powertrain software development using Matlab/Simulink

 

·         Experience with transmission or hydraulic controls would be a plus

 

·         Familiar with CAN communication (J1939 is a plus)

 

·         Vehicle Level Testing Experience

 

·         Experience with vehicle service/diagnostic tool development

 

·         BSME, MSME with specialty on Controls

Responsibilities:

             -Develop hydraulic hybrid system control strategies and software coding  

 

-Conduct control system development tests and vehicle performance/verification tests.

       -Support truck testing and issue debugging.

      -Up to 30% travel to supplier or customer locations for technical support.
