Overview:

We are looking for a strong entrepreneurial leader who will be instrumental in the success of our Clients new, Sydney business unit. The Australia General Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the business success in Australia. He/she will develop and implement advanced material handling automation system solutions for the Australian market. He/she will assist the President in developing and executing strategic business goals.

§ $125k Base

Requirements:

§ Bachelors in Engineering with 4 years practical business experience  (The President is former US Navy Nuke and truly values a military background)

§ MBA preferred

§ CAD experience

§ Accounting System / ERP knowledge

§ Strong computer skills with: MS Office, Social Networking

§ Business Leadership

§ Strong Selling and Project Management Skills

§ Travel to US for Training

General Responsibilities:

§ Recruiting and hiring the best talent for the new office.

§ Web Site content, blog

§ Country based marketing plan (Inbound Marketing)

§ Trade Shows

§ Coach and mentor the Sales Force to meet their annual goals and develop their careers.

§ Conduct effective annual employee reviews on or before their anniversary dates.

§ Continually enhance internal and external processes (automation, policies, procedures, etc.)

§ Partners with all other Partnership member companies for their mutual success  

§ Maintains extremely strong customer relationships

§ Create and maintain effective individual employee incentive plans:

§ Negotiate discounts with suppliers

§ 20% Sustained Growth Rate (Market Share, Revenues, and NIAT). Trailing Twelve Month Average.

§ Review major proposals for accuracy and risk assessment (terms and conditions) prior to release.

§ Excellent representation and development of our key supplier product lines and services. (Supplier / Subcontractor Surveys)

§ Ensure your sales force has the best selling tools

§ Conduct a consistent weekly update meeting (no more than 1 hour).

§ Negotiate customer contracts.

§ Assist project managers in the field during start-up or as necessary if they are struggling.

§ Spend time working with each of your employees in their specific job function to ensure effectiveness, productivity, and consistency with established policies and procedures.

§ Prepare all sales forecasts and create the new annual budgets.

§ Create and monitor performance metrics vs. goal.

§ Out in the field at least 2 times per week. Out with each sales person at least once per month.

§ Develop new Accounts (New Business Development)

§ Go on site at least monthly to check the progress of major systems being implemented.

§ Participate in the monthly Project Financial Review (PFR) meeting of all ongoing projects. If segments of the job are not doing well, get involved to get the issues corrected.

§ Conduct training for all positions. Cross training between sales and other positions.

§ Provide feedback to your sales force (both bad and good) on the weekly

Title:  Field Sales Engineer

Location: Baltimore, Greater Philadelphia, Cincinnati

The Field Sales Engineer will develop strong industrial clients and manage an existing book of business.   They will provide them with world class automation and material handling solutions to exceed their expectations.   This individual will bring an excellent understanding of material flow, information flow and business acumen within Distribution and Manufacturing.

Focus:

Provide exceptional customer service to existing accounts and source new revenue opportunities within the existing book of business.

Represent key suppliers and subcontractors services and products within the Assigned Market

Penetrate New Target Accounts

Strong Independent Self Starters that will join a second generation, $500mm Business with an International Footprint

   

We are looking for:

Bachelors Degree in an Engineering Discipline

Technical Sales in the industrial sector a plus- System Integrators

Material Handling automation design and sales experience a plus

Auto Cad

MHMS Certification

Territory Management Experience

 

OR 

 

Strong Transitioning or Transitioned Military Officers with Engineering Degrees or Navy Nuke Background
