A successful Embedded Controls Engineer will have experience in the development of vehicle powertrain software.

Requirements:

The Supplier Quality Analyst's primary role is to assist the supply base in performance improvement through development and use of APQP documentation, adequate use of process controls, adherence to control plan and systematic problem solving processes.  The SQA will also facilitate the supplier quality improvement process with plant quality manufacturing, purchasing, product development and supplier function.

Responsibilities:

·         Develop processes to improve supplier performance of quality measurables.  Will also facilitate the implementation of these activities with others in the company as well as the supply base.

·         Develop plans and/or processes to improve supplier launch performance.  Also, ensure that all materials issues are addressed and resolved prior to SOP and that a robust process is in place to support production launch.

·         Support direct material buyers in supplier capability and development for new program sourcing and/or resourcing programs.

·         Validation of supplier process controls that conform to control plans.  Assist suppliers in development and implementation of corrective action plans and process controls as required.

·         Verify that the supply base has implemented and is using APQP practices, including review/approval of control plan, PFMEA, and process flow diagrams.

·         Performs supplier quality functions like PPM analysis and root cause analysis. Manage issues between the plant and supplier teams.  Work with supplier on corrective actions.

·         Support direct material buyers in continuous improvement efforts.

·         Perform quality system audits.

·         Assist suppliers in developing adequate process controls for new programs.

Requirements:

·         Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Certified Quality Auditor preferred.

·         3 years related experience in automotive supplier manufacturing environment

·         Experience in manufacturing processes, prefer machining operations.

·         Program Management experience.

·         Must have knowledge and experience in QS9000/ISO policies and procedures.

·         Well versed in APQP activities and processes, and process sign-offs at supplier sites for new programs.

·         Effective interpersonal and facilitation skills working with suppliers, customers and employees.

·         Must be able to function in a team environment as well as good verbal and communication skills.

·         Ability to use and assist others in the use of problem solving and AQP techniques such as control plans, DoE, FMEA, 8-D, Fishbone diagrams and 5 phase.

The Director of Labor Relations will be responsible for directing and implementing immediate and long-range strategic planning in the area of labor relations. This position will provide labor relations expertise to both union and non-union operations. In this role, the individual will represent the company in or oversee negotiations of collective bargaining agreements, regulatory proceedings, and employee grievances.

Essential Job Functions:

. Develop collective bargaining strategy and negotiate or oversee negotiation of collective bargaining agreements in collaboration with management
. Develop and maintain effective relationships with operations and union leadership to address and resolve issues and proactively implement effective workplace practices.
. Build relationships with key labor organizations and external representatives.
. Represent the Company at all bargaining sessions as a primary or secondary spokesperson.
. Evaluate and assist with effective resolution of grievances and other local conflicts resulting from the labor agreements
. Prepare for and conduct arbitration cases.
. Counsel managers and employees regarding the interpretation and application of collective bargaining agreements as well as the intent, application, and compliance of requirements of labor and regulatory laws.
. Manage relationships with and costs of outside legal counsel.

Requirements:
. Candidates will bring a minimum of 10 years of proven experience.

. Demonstrated successful track record in the collective bargaining process, including understanding of union organization process, contract negotiations, grievance handling, and labor & management relationships
. Proven skills used to investigate and resolve employee grievances including preparing and defending cases in arbitration.
. Possesses broad range of relationships that could impact the employee/employer relationship. This includes collective bargaining agreements, company policies, practices and ethical obligations. Ability to oversee related investigations and oversee implementation of appropriate resolutions.
