Primary Responsibilities  


* Leverage our ERP system to drive standardization in the quoting process, pricing analysis and productivity
* Work with Project Management, Purchasing and Production teams to determine best methods and materials for manufacturing
* Increase productions ability to perform time studies, learn new manufacturing methods and processes to reduce costs and improve quality

Senior Prime Contracts Administrator

We are looking for Senior Prime Contracts Administrators for the LOGCAP IV Contingency Operations, located in Afghanistan.  ( Multiple Positions)

We have been engaged by a Global Leader that for the last 66 years has served the United States and international government agencies by executing the toughest of projects worldwide. 

Our client provides engineering, procurement, construction, contingency response, site management, facility operations and Maintenance (EPCM) services.   Every day of the year, our client supports DOD, Dept of Energy, Homeland Security and DOS. 

Our client has completed challenging projects in remote regions of Afghanistan, Africa, Alaska, the Caribbean, Iraq, the Middle East, Kazakhstan, and Russia.  

You will:

 

1. Serve as a Senior Contracts and Supply Chain Management Leader of a Large FOB or Multiple Sites.   You will be the direct interface with Government administration personnel, providing contract administration support for our Client with the Government personnel assigned to Defense Contract Management Agency - International.

2. Responsible for the effective administration of an assigned Task Order (s) in relationship to your FOB or Multiple Sites in accordance with Clients practices and the task order requirements.

3. You will serve as the senior compliance adviser to the field project staff including areas such as purchasing, materials management, subcontracts and government property.

4. Responsible for assisting the Client Country Manager, Client Country Business Manager, and the Theater Lead Government Contracts Administrator for LOGCAP IV in the management and effective contract administration strategies to ensure compliance with task order and basic prime contract requirements.

5. Responsible for managing an effective change management program in coordination with Project Controls, Estimating and other personnel involved in change management.

6. Emphasizes effective utilization of US small businesses to all project personnel in order to surpass contractual Small Business Subcontracting Plan goals

7. Manages company program to ensure government-owned property is effectively managed, controlled, etc.

8.  Establishes award fee metrics at task order award to begin earning fee from day one

 

 

Must Have:

 

  • Bachelor Degree required in a related discipline.
  • Comprehensive experience in Department of Defense contingency contracting and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Supplement thereto, with an in depth knowledge and experience in the use and management of FAR Part 42, FAR Part 15, change order accounting / negotiations, cost accounting standards, cost/price and estimating, and DCAA audit requirements.

 

  • Must have strong background in DoD Small Business Programs.
  • Knowledge of DoD systems including Central Contractor Registration, Post Performance Systems, Contract Manpower Reporting, and other relevant DOD tools
  • Thorough knowledge of Government Auditing Practices
  • Experience with Military Contracts
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent time management skills, with good leadership skills.
  • Ability to instruct and inform program personnel about Government contracting requirements.
