We are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager that will contain either Saturday or Sunday as a regular work day. You will have full ownership of the Maintenance Team and Focus on Three Key Initiatives:
1. Project Planning and new equipment commissioning
2. Parts Management and Preventative Maintenance. You will spearhead the implementation of new systems and processes.
3. Work Force Development and Facility Maintenance within a Three Shift Dairy Operation

Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate within established maintenance operating budget guidelines and provide strong oversight to departmental expenditures.
- Assists with planning and cost estimates for annual and longer term capital budgets.
- Execute the capital plan to include all engineering design and project management, leading and managing internal and external resources.
- Ensure compliance with all operational permits and environmental practices.
- Responsible for all aspects of building operations including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
- Supervises the completion of work through review of reports, frequent site inspections and conferences with operations and vendors regarding electrical & plumbing equipment, HVAC systems, electric motors, ventilating fans, air conditioning, refrigeration and electrical control units.
- Conduct Facility Reviews and make thorough recommendations to ensure sustainability.
- Lead a Three Shift 24/7 Maintenance Operation.
Must Have's
- Minimum five years experience in food plant maintenance.
- Must be computer literate; experienced in using computer software applications such as CADD, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project Management, ERP etc.
- Must have complete understanding of PLC and logic controls for high speed operating equipment.
- Must have refrigeration system knowledge.
- Prior experience using production environment SAP a plus.
- Extensive Project Management Knowledge.
- Outstanding Workforce Development Experience
- Must have a proven track record of successfully managing the construction of large, complex projects.
- Comprehensive information on construction processes, trade practices, standards, building codes & regulations.
- Excellent administrative and follow up skills to achieve successful Conceptualization and Implementation of the maintenance and repair programs.
- Prior Budget Forecasting and Expenditure tracking experience
