We are currently looking for a Sanitation Manager that will work Sunday through Thursday as a regular work day. You will have full ownership of the Sanitation Team ensuring World Class sanitation and cleaning within a 24/7 Dairy Operation.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the successful attainment of sanitation objectives, implementation of policies, and most effective utilization of available resources and facilities.
- Establish well documented check list and record keeping standards to ensure world class sanitation program.
- Oversee entire sanitation program by assisting Quality Manager.
- Responsible for the enforcement of GMP's. Enforce adherence to manufacturing instructions, quality standards, and GMP's.
- Manage and coordinate fogging program for plant, including frequency, functioning of equipment and accountability.
- Responsible for general plant cleanliness with the expectation of being inspection ready 24/7.
- Manage bulk inventories with daily readings for daily usage tracking. Insuring proper stock levels at all times by managing bulk and barrel inventories at all times.
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements concerning dairy processing, safety, and working conditions.
- Responsible for leading, coaching and developing all Sanitation Employees.
· Stay abreast of new technologies associated with the industry and area of sanitation. Including further development and external training. Responsible for training at the plant level.
· Accountable for decreasing fixed chemical costs on an annual basis
· Assist all departmental areas to maintain 100% coli free standards
· Assist all departmental areas to maintain shelf life compliance
· Ensure on time start up of all packaging lines through decreased sanitation times and coordination of sanitation scheduling
· Assume Full ownership of daily record keeping and preventative maintenance is completed.
Must Have's
Bachelor's degree in Food/Sanitation Engineering or related technical field preferred.
- Minimum five years experience in food plant sanitation management.
- Must be computer literate; experienced in using computer software applications such as CADD, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project Mgt, etc.
- Must have complete understanding of PLC and logic controls for high speed operating equipment.
- Mechanical ability and proven knowledge of equipment currently used.
- Basic accounting knowledge required.
