We are currently looking for a production manager that will contain either Saturday or Sunday as a regular work day. You will have full ownership of your shift and will report directly to the Plan Manager.

Responsibilities
Work Force Development: Coach, Train, Motivate and Mentor all Production, Quality, Packaging, Safety, Maintenance, Shipping, Warehousing, Purchasing, and Environmental employees, to include shift leadership.
Performance Management: Develop and execute systems to ensure proper staffing levels and improve shift productivity.
Process Improvement: Utilize Continuous Improvement techniques to control shrinkage, product yield and labor cost. Spearhead new process implementation and new equipment commissioning.
Safety Champion: Spearhead World Class Safety Program and ensure GMP compliance.
Financial Acumen: Assist in developing annual manufacturing expense budget in accordance with forecasts and planned inventory levels. Budgeting and Cost Control Experience.
Operational Excellence: Ensure Company Policies and Standard Operating Procedures are followed and exceeded.
Must Have's
Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
Ability to implement change
5 + years of hand-on experience in dairy plant operations or food industry
Strong Work Force Development and Leadership Skills
Financial Acumen
Associates Degree or Above
