Job Description:
SRC is currently seeking a highly motivated Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to join a team of existing engineers in the design of the most complex radar, electronic warfare, and communications systems in the country. All aspects of development, design, build, and test are performed in-house, setting the company aside from its competitors.
Responsibilities:
. Participate in the design of microwave assemblies for radar, communications, and electronic warfare system applications ranging from 400MHz to 18GHz
. Prepare design/specification tradeoffs, along with component and subsystem evaluations
.Design receivers, exciters, antennas, transmitters, and RF circuit assemblies
. Perform requirements analysis, architecture development, specification definition, testing, and final release
. Work within a cross functional team environment to include software, radar systems, digital, RF, mechanical, and communications systems engineers
. Develop a working knowledge of up converter chains, down converter chains, solid state microwave power amplifiers, limiters, low noise amplifiers, and feed networks
Requirements:
. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with an outstanding GPA and 1-5 years of experience supporting RF related systems
. Prior coursework in electromagnetics, antennas and microwave design
. Familiarity with RF and microwave design fundamentals including transmission lines, antennas, and S-parameters
. Experience with microwave test equipment, network analyzers, and antenna measurement fundamentals
. Experience with Engineering Design Software is a plus (Sonnet, HFSS, ADS)
. Master's degree of science is strongly preferred
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
